## AI Tools Engineer, Storage Infrastructure ### About Crusoe Crusoe is building AI infrastructure to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company, they own and operate each layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens—to power the world’s most ambitious AI workloads. ### About the Role You’ll join the **Storage Engineering** team, the backbone of Crusoe’s AI cloud platform. You’ll build **AI-powered tools** that make storage operations and engineering workflows faster and smarter, and help shape how the team works by driving adoption of tools like **Claude Code** and **Codex**. ### What You’ll Be Working On - Build **AI-powered automation** for storage operations and workflows to reduce manual engineering toil - Drive adoption of **AI coding tools** (Claude Code, Codex, and others) across the Storage team - Create use cases, reduce friction, and advocate for tools the team isn’t using yet - Help engineers use AI for **test creation, correctness checks, and code review** to reduce repetitive work - **Coach and mentor** engineers on effective use of AI tools (not just solo usage) - Partner closely with **DevX** on tooling and platform-level changes (CI and broader infra) > Note: This role focuses on **driving adoption and use cases within Storage**, not owning DevX-owned platform systems. ### What You’ll Bring to the Team - **3+ years** of professional experience building with AI tools, with measurable outcomes - A track record of getting a team to adopt a tool or workflow you introduced - Experience turning a personally built internal AI tool into something the team relies on - Strong **software engineering fundamentals** - Genuine enthusiasm for **AI coding tools** and experience across multiple tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) - Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related** ### Bonus Points - Exposure to **cloud storage, networking, or infrastructure** environments - Cross-functional experience across **DevX, Product Management, and Engineering** ### Benefits - Competitive compensation and equity packages - Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) - Paid time off, paid holidays, and leave of absence programs - Comprehensive health, dental & …
