About this role
**About the Role** The Structured Investments Distribution Engineer at iCapital will play an integral role in designing and implementing systems that power the iCapital platform. You’ll build highly performant, intuitive APIs and applications, partnering closely with Product Management throughout the software development process. The platform is built on a micro-services architecture with services in **Scala, Ruby, Node.js, and Python**. If you’re not already familiar with all of these technologies, you’ll have the opportunity to learn them on the job with support from management and mentors. **Responsibilities** - Build cloud-native services using **Scala** and open-source frameworks such as **Akka** and **ZIO** - Develop **unit and integration tests** using **Scala Test** and **ZIO Test** - Participate in **stand-up meetings** - Participate in **peer code reviews** as part of the standard SDLC and change management process **Qualifications** - Degree in Software Engineering - **5+ years** of web-based application development - Experience with **Scala, Node.js, or Java** (a plus) - Understanding of **relational and/or NoSQL database** concepts and modeling - Passion for actively learning new technologies - Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively - Strong problem-solving and communication skills **Compensation & Benefits** - Base salary range: **$100,000–$130,000** - Compensation package includes salary, **equity**, and an annual performance bonus - Comprehensive benefits: employer-matched retirement plan, subsidized healthcare (including **100% employer-paid dental and vision**), telemedicine, virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and **unlimited PTO** **Work Location / Schedule** - Work in the office **Monday–Thursday** - Flexibility to work remotely on **Friday** **Learn More** - https://www.icapitalnetwork.com/about-us - X: @icapitalnetwork | LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/icapital-network-inc *iCapital is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.*
