About this role
## SCCM / MECM Packager **Peraton** is seeking an experienced **SCCM / MECM Packager** to support the **Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / Transportation Security Administration (TSA)**. This position is **remote** and focuses on end-to-end application packaging and deployment across a large enterprise environment. --- ### Responsibilities - Create, stage, and deploy applications across an enterprise network of **40,000+ endpoints** using **SCCM / MECM** - Use packaging tools such as **Flexera AdminStudio**, **InstallShield**, and **Wise Package Studio** to develop, automate, and troubleshoot installations - Manage and resolve deployment failures through **Software Center**, including content distribution and client-side issues - Execute phased deployment strategies via structured testing and production rollouts - Maintain detailed process documentation and **change control** records for audit readiness - Administer and troubleshoot multiple SCCM / MECM environments simultaneously - Perform **root-cause analysis** to diagnose and resolve application issues efficiently - Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in packaging and deployment - Ensure adherence to enterprise policies, compliance standards, and configuration baselines - Troubleshoot Configuration Manager issues related to application deployment, content distribution, and client devices - Support constant process improvements --- ### Qualifications **Basic Qualifications** - **Bachelor’s + 8 years** experience, **or** **Master’s + 6 years**, **or** **Associate’s + 10 years**, **or** **HS diploma/equivalent + 12 years** - **U.S. citizen** with ability to obtain and maintain a **DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance** - Advanced expertise in **SCCM / MECM** focused on application packaging, software distribution, and deployment **Required Skills** - Installation technologies: **MSI, MSIX, MST**, and vendor-specific executables - Packaging tools: **Wise Package Studio**, **AdminStudio**, or similar - Scripting: **advanced PowerShell** and **VBScript** (including VBScript-to-PowerShell conversion) - Hands-on SCCM/MECM experience: **Collections, Deployments, Monitoring, Reporting, SQL Queries, and client troubleshooting** - Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills - Networking fundamentals: **TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS**, and related protocols **Preferred Qualifications** - **Public Trust** or higher clearance - **Microsoft SCOM** - **Active Directory / GPOs** - **Microsoft Office 365** cloud solutions - Windows Server **2016/2019/2022** - Windows **10/11** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Self-starter with strong attention to detail --- ### Target Salary Range **$80,000 – $128,000** (varies based on experience, education, location, and contract/business factors).
