About this role
## Senior Engineering Operations Manager ### About Camunda Camunda is the enterprise platform for agentic orchestration—helping organizations coordinate **AI agents, people, and systems** across complex, end-to-end business processes. With built-in **governance, auditability, and human oversight**, Camunda enables teams to move AI from pilots to production **safely and at scale**. Camunda is **fully remote and global** and is transforming into an **AI-first organization**, built on its own platform. ### About the role In this role, you own **how we build products**—specifically the **Product Development Process (PDP)** and the **automation behind it**. You’ll also build **agentic processes on Camunda** for the Products department’s own work, using Camunda the way customers do so the team can learn from real experience. You’ll work across **Engineering** and **Product Strategy** and be **hands-on**: designing the process and building/running the automation yourself. **Fully remote role.** ### What you’ll be doing - Own the **PDP end to end** for both **Core** and **Experience** tracks: process design, stages, board hygiene, and how you define and track an epic. - Align the PDP with **Product Strategy** so strategy, initiatives, and epics connect—and both divisions trust the process. - Fix and run the **PDP automation** (built on **Camunda 8**): source control, tests, test environment, monitoring, and a shared foundation for both tracks. - Run **Camunda Products on Camunda**: build agentic processes for internal product work that mirror how customers use the product, and feed learnings back to product teams. ### What you bring - Ability and/or willingness to use our product. - **Product, design, and technical skills in one person**: you can judge whether a workflow works for users and build it yourself (a product-only background isn’t enough). - **Hands-on engineering**: write code/scripts, work with GitHub, CI/CD, and APIs, and debug integrations. - **Process ownership**: you’ve designed and changed a product/engineering process in a software company with **100+ engineers**. - **Practical AI agent experience**: you’ve built agents/agentic workflows that do real work. - **Cross-team influence**: you can align Product, Engineering, and leadership on one way of working. ### Nice-to-haves - Experience with **BPMN**, **Camunda**, or other workflow engines. - Background in **product operations**, **developer experience**, or **platform engineering**. ### Location / Work model - **Fully remote** ### Compensation & benefits (high level) - **Competitive, fair, and transparent compensation** with location-based salary ranges. - Annual Total Target Cash (base + 100% variable target where applicable): - **United States:** $137,100.00 – $221,100.00 - **United Kingdom:** £86,100.00 – £141,600.00 - **Singapore:** S$170,300.00 – S$255,400.00 - **Equity** (where applicable) via VSOP. - Benefits include remote & flexible work support, health & wellbeing programs, retirement/pension plans (where relevant), and professional growth budget. ### Additional notes - Camunda may use AI tools during screening/interviews. - **Everyone is welcome at Camunda** (equal opportunity employer). - Scams warning: Camunda will only contact candidates from email addresses ending in **@camunda.com** or **@talent.camunda.com** and will never ask for bank account details or sensitive financial information. ### Apply Job reference: **#LI-SG1 #LI-Remote #C1**
