**Senior Platform Engineer** As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll build the backend systems that power GrowthLoop. The Platform team owns the query execution engine, Journey orchestration logic, and export delivery—helping make GrowthLoop dependable as we grow. --- ## What you’ll do - Build and operate backend services that move data through GrowthLoop, from warehouse queries to downstream systems. - Improve how services handle incoming events, execute queries, transform results, and coordinate delivery. - Investigate customer problems, identify practical solutions, and test/measure whether they work. - Build and maintain APIs and integrations across major cloud data warehouses, supporting the move toward real-time capabilities. - Participate in the platform team’s on-call rotation: respond to production issues, restore service, keep stakeholders informed, and improve reliability. - Find and fix problems affecting correctness, speed, reliability, security, and ease of operation. - Build shared components, automation, documentation, and tools to reduce repeated work. - Help fellow engineers do great work through clear code reviews, context sharing, mentoring, early communication, and follow-through. - 🤖 Leverage AI tools daily and help build GrowthLoop’s ML & agentic products. --- ## What you bring - 5+ years of production coding experience, with a strong foundation in Python and scaling services. - Experience in a startup or high-growth environment. - Deep experience designing, building, and maintaining services with end-to-end ownership (including on-call). - Backend-heavy systems and distributed architectures experience, including working with GCP or AWS, with reliability, security, and observability at scale. - Comfort with frontier tech (e.g., AI agents) to amplify speed, quality, and impact. - Thrives in ambiguity: map constraints, surface hard questions early, and drive clarity. - Learner’s mindset: ask, absorb, and act fast. - High energy and strong collaboration. --- ## About GrowthLoop GrowthLoop built the first composable CDP, helping marketers leverage live, first-party data from their cloud warehouse to launch highly targeted campaigns.
