## Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native) ### About Abby Care Abby Care is building the leading AI-native platform for family-led care at home across America. We’re addressing the growing care crisis by supporting the millions of family caregivers who provide care without the tools, training, or recognition they deserve. Our platform combines clinical oversight with AI to train, enable, and support family caregivers—helping health plans and government partners better understand, verify, and improve care in the home. ### The Opportunity Engineering at Abby Care is end-to-end (0→1) and mission-driven. You’ll join a highly collaborative, cross-functional team solving complex challenges in tech-enabled healthcare delivery. This is a **Full-Time Hybrid** role based in **San Francisco**. ### What you’ll work on - **Drive product and platform development**: Own the development lifecycle from concept to delivery (scope, mobile/full-stack development, user testing, and launch cycles). - **Partner cross-functionally**: Work with operations, clinical, compliance, product, and more to build solutions that work in the real world. - **Lead technical excellence**: Run technical “spikes” across product development, cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and data security; build greenfield systems using the latest AI advancements. ### What you’ll have - **5+ years** of professional software development experience building, scaling, and maintaining complex applications. - Deep expertise in **React Native**, with the ability to architect and rebuild the mobile experience from the ground up as truly **AI native**. - **Product-minded** approach with strong focus on end-user experience for caregivers and patients. - Strong engineering foundation (Bachelor’s in CS or related field preferred). ### Strongly preferred - Experience using AI tools (e.g., **Cursor, Copilot, Claude**) to 10x output and help establish an AI-native development culture. - Backend familiarity, especially **Python** and/or modern web frameworks, to connect AI services to the mobile client. - Thrives in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership. - Healthtech experience, or strong personal motivation to build high-stakes software improving human health and home care. ### Benefits - Competitive compensation tied to impact - Comprehensive health coverage (including **$0 deductible PPO** and **company-funded HSA**), plus life and disability insurance - Generous paid time off + **10 paid company holidays** - Financial savings benefits (HSA contributions, optional FSA, commuter benefits, and **401(k) account fee coverage**) - Paid parental leave ### Our Values 1. **Families First** 2. **Urgency with Precision** 3. **Relentlessly Resourceful** 4. **Purpose with Positivity** 5. **Driven to Redefine What’s Possible** ### Equal Opportunity Employer Abby Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
