Engineers who use and improve this framework help accelerate how fast and reliably the Language Intelligence Platform improves. **The Opportunity (Engineer II)** You’ll join Boostlingo Engineering as a **senior individual contributor**. Your scope depends on what you’ve already owned: - Some engineers own a **system or feature area** and help their pod ship faster and better. - Others own **multi-system / multi-pod scope** and are accountable for business outcomes tied to technical decisions. - A few help set **technical strategy** for the org (how the agentic framework is shaped across models, data & retrieval, and eval & safety infrastructure). **What You’ll Own** - Own a **system, feature area, or larger technical scope**—and be the reason it exists and works. - Make trade-off calls balancing **customer and business cost**, not just technical elegance. - Use the **company agentic framework** fluently and improve it (prompts, configs, workflows, guardrails adopted by others). - Anticipate AI-specific failure modes (e.g., **hallucination, drift, prompt injection**). - Own **quality** for your area (keep the **Gate** strong, reduce escaped-defect trends, fix at the system/class level). - Lead design discussions and write **design docs** (AI-drafted, human-owned) that others reference. - Mentor engineers and coach them to get more from the framework. - Influence decisions across pods; lead cross-pod initiatives and advise engineering leadership. - Drive change: propose/run experiments and package what you learn. **What We Are Looking For** - You’re a **force multiplier**: the pod ships faster and better because you’re in it. - You review AI-assisted code with the same rigor as hand-written code—and can **defend every line**. - You argue for the design the **customer needs**, even when it’s less “interesting.” - You disagree openly with evidence and keep **Positive Vibes** under pressure. - At broader scope, you’re steady in hard discussions and deliver bad news honestly—without pretending it can’t be fixed. **Process Improvement Skills We’re Looking For** - Improve how the whole pod works (not just your corner). - Tune the **Gate** and agentic workflows so defects are caught earlier. - Turn repeat escapes into **system-level fixes**. - Package learnings so others can use them—measured adoption is the proof. **What This Role Is Not** - Not for someone who wants to work only on their own ticket
