We’re looking for a mid-level systems engineer who can get things done while supporting the mission to protect our country. ## Description Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer with experience in **System Administration Automation**, **management**, and **security compliance**. The candidate will focus on maintaining **system integrity, performance, and security** for critical client/server environments, with strong **problem-solving** and **communication** skills. This role requires working with a small, mission-focused team that frequently interacts with users and the customer. ## Requirements ### Security Clearance - Must currently hold a **Top Secret/SCI** U.S. Government security clearance with a **favorable Polygraph**; therefore, all candidates must be **U.S. citizens**. ### Minimum Qualifications - **Bachelor’s degree** in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college/university - **Six (6) years** of systems engineering experience ### Required Skills - Strong **System Engineering** and **System Administration** - Strong knowledge of **Security Compliance** - Strong knowledge of networking devices: **Cisco, Juniper, Arista** - Windows/Linux **system administration** skills - Familiarity with **Kubernetes/containerization** - Experience with **Active Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services** - Strong knowledge of **security protocols** and **patching** - Ability to **communicate** and **escalate issues** to management **Note:** This position is open for **direct hires only**.
