Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country. --- ## Description Captivation Software is looking for a mid-level Software Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining system management infrastructure software and services for **High Performance Computing (HPC)** systems in a **Linux** environment. --- ## Requirements ### Security Clearance - Must currently hold a **Top Secret/SCI** U.S. Government security clearance with a **favorable Polygraph**; therefore all candidates must be a **U.S. citizen**. ### Minimum Qualifications - **Master’s** in Computer Science (or related) + **3 years** experience as a SWE on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. - **Bachelor’s** in Computer Science (or related) + **5 years** experience as a SWE on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. - **7 years** experience as a SWE on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. ### Required Skills - Experience using the **Linux CLI** and Linux tools - Experience developing **Bash** scripts to automate manual processes - Recent software development experience using **Python** - Familiar with **DCIM** tools such as **NetBox** - Experience with **Secret Management** tools such as **HashiCorp Vault** - Familiar with **IAM** solutions such as **Keycloak** - Experience with containerization technologies such as **Docker** / **Podman** / containers - Experience with automation frameworks including **Ansible** for orchestrating deployment - Familiar with **CI/CD** principles, methodologies, and tools such as **GitLab CI** and **Jenkins** - Experience with **Git** source control ### Desired Skills - Familiar with observability/analytics platforms such as **Splunk** - Familiar with **Agile**, **Scrum**, or **SAFe** - Experience with **Atlassian** tool suite (**JIRA**, **Confluence**) --- **Note:** This position is open for **direct hires only**.
