We’re an in-office company, driven by excellence and velocity, and backed by investors including a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, and Index Ventures. ## About the Role As a **Member of Technical Staff (New Grad, 2027 Start)**, you’ll join one of four engineering teams building the systems behind Decagon’s AI agents: - **Agent Engineering** - **Agent Orchestration** - **Enterprise Product** - **Infrastructure** You’ll own your work end to end and make a real impact from the start—diving into complex system challenges and building elegant, scalable solutions. **Eligibility / Timing**: Designed for candidates graduating between **December 2026 and July 2027**. **Location**: New Grad roles are based in **San Francisco or New York**. ## Your Background - Pursuing or completing a **B.S. (or higher)** in Computer Science or a related technical field (graduating **Dec 2026–July 2027**) - Proficiency with **Python** and **TypeScript**, including **asynchronous programming** - Track record of building and shipping high-quality products/features (coursework, internships, or personal projects) - Comfort digging into system failures across deep technology stacks - Experience using **AI coding agents** as part of development - Excited to thrive in a fast-paced environment and continuously learn ### Even Better - Experience with **multi-modal models** - Experience with **distributed systems**, **data pipelines**, or **production infrastructure** - **0→1** product-building experience ## Team Overviews **Agent Engineering** Build mission-critical AI agents that impact millions of users and drive Decagon’s growth. Collaborate with customers and create long-term, scalable solutions. **Agent Orchestration** Own the runtime and model orchestration layer powering agents in production—turning workflows, tools, and guardrails into a reliable, low-latency experience. **Enterprise Product** Create the platform customers use to build, maintain, and improve their AI agents.
