We’re looking for a senior-level software integration engineer who can get things done while supporting the mission to protect our country. ### Description Responsible for the test, evaluation, integration, and troubleshooting of the HPC software stack and related system issues. ### Requirements **Security Clearance** - Must currently hold a **Top Secret/SCI** U.S. Government security clearance with a **favorable Polygraph**; therefore, all candidates must be **U.S. citizens**. **Minimum Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) and **10+ years** integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting **COTS/GOTS** software in heterogeneous OS environments. - OR: **5 years** directly related Computer Science work that can substitute for a degree, plus **10+ years** demonstrable experience. - An industry-recognized professional certification (as defined in the TT0s) may substitute for **1 year** experience. - Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related) may substitute for **2 years** experience. **Required Skills** - Experience with **Linux CLI** and Linux tools - Extensive recent experience using **Bash/Python** to develop scripts - Solid understanding of **Slurm** resource management and job scheduling - Experience integrating, evaluating, and administering **HPC systems** - Troubleshooting HPC system problems (including basic system administration tasks), covering both software stack and hardware issues - **IaC** principles and automation tools such as **Salt** and **Ansible** - Familiarity with HPC shared file systems: **Lustre, GPFS, Panasas** - Familiarity with monitoring tools such as **Ganglia** and **Nagios** - Familiarity with acceleration technologies: **GPU, FPGA, ASICs** - Familiarity with high-speed network interconnects: **InfiniBand, Slingshot** - Familiarity with open-source, industry-standard HPC benchmark tooling - Ability to troubleshoot using a rigorous, analytical approach to identify root causes and mitigation/solution paths **Desired Skills** - Experience with **Atlassian Tool Suite** (JIRA, Confluence) - Experience supporting **HPC large-scale systems** and customers ### Notes - **Direct hires only.** We will not consider candidates from third-party staffing/recruiting firms. ### Benefits - **Annual Salary:** $130,000 – $270,000 (depends on years of experience) - **Up to 20% 401(k) contribution** (no matching required; vested from day 1) - **Above market hourly rates** - **$3,600 HSA contribution** - **6 weeks paid time off** - Company-paid **medical/dental/vision**, **life insurance**, **short-term & long-term disability**, and **AD&D**
