Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country. --- ## Description Captivation Software is seeking a **Senior Level Software Integration Engineer (On-Call)** responsible for the administration, maintenance, and operational support of the **Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)** component of the **CASA Compute Environment (CCE)**. The CCE provides **secure, multi-tenant, high-performance, highly available Kubernetes clusters** running on a **Linux-based infrastructure**. Responsibilities include ensuring **platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal cluster performance** in support of mission and application requirements. --- ## Requirements ### Security Clearance - Must currently hold a **Top Secret/SCI** U.S. Government security clearance with a **favorable Polygraph** (all candidates must be **U.S. citizens**). ### Minimum Qualifications - **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science (or related) and **8+ years** integrating/installing/configuring/upgrading/compiling/supporting **COTS/GOTS** software in heterogeneous OS environments. - Or **5 years** directly related CS work (may substitute for a degree) plus **8+ years** demonstrable experience. - An industry-recognized professional certification (as defined in the TT0s) may substitute for **1 year** experience. - **Master’s degree** may substitute for **2 years** experience. ### Required Skills - Experience using the **Linux CLI** and Linux tool suite - Scripting experience with **Bash/Python** - Containerization technologies such as **Docker/Podman** - Demonstrated experience administering and monitoring **Kubernetes clusters** - Troubleshooting/resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads (e.g., **ingress, performance, networking, storage**) - **IaC** principles and automation tools including **Ansible** - Writing/deploying/maintaining **Helm charts** - Monitoring with **Prometheus/Grafana** - **Git** for source control, branching strategies, and team collaboration ### Desired Skills - Experience with **Atlassian Tool Suite** (e.g., Jira, Confluence) - Experience in a **DevOps** environment using **Agile** principles/methodologies - Experience with (or willingness to learn) development of **Python applications** (REST services, microservices, etc.) - **CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)** --- **Note:** This position is open for **direct hires only**.
