Our team of engineers take pride in what they develop and constantly innovate to provide the best solution. --- ## Description Captivation Software is looking for a **mid-level Software Integration Engineer (On-Call)** responsible for the administration, maintenance, and operational support of the **Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)** component of the **CASA Compute Environment (CCE)**. The CCE provides **secure, multi-tenant, high-performance, and highly available Kubernetes clusters** operating within a **Linux-based infrastructure**. You will help ensure **platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal cluster performance** in support of mission and application requirements. --- ## Requirements ### Security Clearance - Must currently hold a **Top Secret/SCI** U.S. Government security clearance with a **favorable Polygraph** (therefore candidates must be **U.S. citizens**). ### Minimum Qualifications - **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science (or related field) + **6+ years** experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting **COTS/GOTS** software in a heterogeneous OS environment. - Or: **5 years** full-time Computer Science directly related work (substitutable for a degree) + **6+ years** experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting **COTS/GOTS** software in a heterogeneous OS environment. ### Required Skills - Experience using the **Linux CLI** and Linux tool suite - Scripting experience with **Bash/Python** - Containerization experience (e.g., **Docker/Podman**) - Demonstrated experience administering and monitoring **Kubernetes** clusters - Troubleshooting/resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads (e.g., **ingress, performance, networking, storage**) - **IaC** principles and automation tools (e.g., **Ansible**) - Experience writing, deploying, and maintaining **Helm Charts** - Experience with monitoring tools such as **Prometheus / Grafana** - Experience with **Git** (source control, branching strategies, collaboration) ### Desired Skills - Experience with **Atlassian** tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) - Experience working in a **DevOps** environment using **Agile** - Experience with (or willingness to learn) **Python application development** (REST services, microservices, etc.) - **CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)** --- ## Notes - **Direct hires only.** We will not consider candidates from third-party staffing/recruiting firms. --- ## Benefits - **Annual Salary:** $130,000 – $270,000 (depends on years of experience) - **Up to 20% 401(k) contribution** (no matching required; vested from day 1) - **Above market hourly rates** - **$3,600 HSA contribution** - **6 weeks paid time off** - Company-paid **medical/dental/vision**, **life insurance**, **short-term & long-term disability**, and **AD&D**
