We’re looking for software developers who can get things done while supporting the mission to protect our country. --- ## Role: Full Stack Developer (Mid/Senior) — On Call Captivation Software has an immediate need for a **Full Stack Developer** to support **Reporting Tool Suite Sustainment** efforts. You’ll focus on development and sustainment of a high-performance **geospatial collaboration tool** that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products. **Responsibilities include:** - Creating enhancements based on high-priority mission needs - Maintaining and sustaining the existing code base **On-call requirement:** - Rotating pager schedule for emergency **24/7 call-in support** (roughly **1 week out of every 3–4 weeks**) - Staff may charge **4 additional hours** for the week they are on call - On average, the team is paged for after-hours support about **once every couple of months** (most issues resolvable by phone) --- ## Requirements ### Security Clearance - Must currently hold a **Top Secret/SCI** U.S. Government security clearance with a **favorable Polygraph** - Therefore, all candidates must be **U.S. citizen** ### Minimum Qualifications - **Bachelor’s degree** from an accredited college/university - **3+ years** of software development/engineering experience (requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and/or problem diagnosis/resolution) - **Master’s degree** may substitute for **2 years** of experience ### Required Skills - **Java 8+** - **C/C++** - **Scripting** (Python, Bash, PHP) - **Apache Tomcat** - **Elasticsearch** - **Oracle** - **Spring Boot** - **RESTful web services** - **Solr** - Comfortable working in a **Linux** environment - Ability to understand, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces between multiple applications ### Desired Skills - **AWS** - **PrimeFaces** - **Quarkus** - **Node.js** - **Lex/Yacc** - Basic sysadmin skills (e.g., managing cron jobs, SELinux, etc.) - Agency reporting and dissemination tools - Agency classification policies - Agile environment experience using **JIRA** and **Confluence** --- ## Notes - **Direct hires only:** This position is open for direct hires only. **No third-party staffing/recruiting firms** will be considered. --- ## Benefits - **Annual Salary:** $130,000 – $270,000 (depends on years of experience) - **401k:** Up to **20% contribution** (no matching required; vested from day 1) - **Above market hourly rates** - **$3,600 HSA contribution** - **6 weeks paid time off** - Company-paid **medical/dental/vision**, **life insurance**, **short-term & long-term disability**, **AD&D**
