At Capstone, you’ll help expand how we “see the world differently” to create opportunity—harnessing the complexities of global derivatives markets with disciplined strategic insight, an experienced team, and advanced technology. --- ## The Team The **Enterprise Engineering** team provides technology solutions for core groups across Capstone, including **Treasury, Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, Compliance**, and more. We’re looking for a highly motivated software engineer with a passion for technology and markets. You’ll partner with Treasury, Accounting, Middle Office professionals, and other teams across the firm to deliver cutting-edge solutions to interesting problems. --- ## Responsibilities & Impact - Create state-of-the-art software that empowers decision-making across various investment strategies - Design, build, and maintain key software solutions supporting core teams, with a focus on **performance, scalability, and reliability** - Own the end-to-end development process: work with stakeholders to understand problems, define an execution strategy, and deliver thoroughly tested, elegant solutions - Collaborate with skilled engineers across the technology team and the firm to solve complex technical challenges --- ## Required Skills - Minimum **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science or related field - Experience building **production-level software** in **Python** - Experience with an object-oriented language such as **Java** or **C#** - Experience working with at least one **financial asset class** - Experience with **SQL databases** - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Collaborative team player with strong verbal communication skills - **4+ years** working experience in the financial industry (**buy side preferred**) - Industry experience in similar roles is a strong plus --- ## Bonus Skills - Experience with **AI-assisted coding** in a production environment - Product knowledge in **Equity** or **Fixed Income** --- ## Benefits & Compensation Capstone offers a robust and competitive benefits program focused on well-being inside and outside the workplace. Decisions are made case-by-case. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for **performance-based incentives** and an **annual incentive plan**.
