We’re an in-office company focused on excellence and velocity, guided by values including **Just Get It Done**, **Invent What Customers Want**, **Winner’s Mindset**, and **The Polymath Principle**. ### About the Role As part of Decagon’s **Agent Development Team**, you will build and scale the function that develops world-class AI agents for customers. You’ll own the strategy and execution for deploying Decagon across complex enterprise environments, ensuring each agent build is smooth, impactful, and sets the foundation for long-term customer success. You will also design and own the agent development playbook—creating frameworks, processes, and standards to make agent builds repeatable and scalable. You’ll continuously improve delivery using AI tools, automation, and strong operational design to increase efficiency and reduce time to value. You’ll partner with customer teams to understand workflows and goals, and collaborate cross-functionally with **Sales, Product, and Engineering** to translate needs into successful agent builds. You’ll guide complex rollouts, align stakeholders, and ensure launches deliver measurable impact. ### What You’ll Do - Lead AI agent builds from **zero to one**, driving execution, adoption, and business outcomes - Design agent development strategies tailored to each customer’s goals and technical environment - Improve **speed, quality, and consistency** by identifying bottlenecks and introducing better systems, tooling, and automation - Lead with assertion and be data-driven to help build a high-performing team for developing AI agents ### Your Background - **4+ years** in customer-facing technical roles (implementations/solutions consulting) or related experience in consulting, finance, product, or project management - Experience leading complex software or AI deployments with measurable results - Technical fluency with **SaaS platforms, integrations, and APIs** - Strong operational instincts (building scalable processes or playbooks) - Clear communicator who can work with both executives and operators - Highly organized and comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity in a fast-paced environment - Low ego and team-first mindset ### Even Better If You Have - Familiarity with enterprise systems such as **Zendesk** or **Salesforce** - Experience building a new function or operating model from the ground up - Power user of AI tools who uses them to transform workflows and drive meaningful efficiency gains ### Benefits Decagon offers benefits for full-time employees (details not included in the provided description).
