**Kubernetes DevOps Engineer** 📍 Hanscom AFB, MA | 🏢 Accenture Federal Services ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ **About the Role** AFS is seeking a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer to help the US federal government across defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ **✅ Requirements** • 5+ years experience with DevSecOps methodologies & tools (CI/CD, GitOps) • 5+ years hands-on experience packaging & securing containerized applications in Kubernetes • In-depth experience building platforms at scale for containerized workloads (cluster provisioning, operations, workload optimization, custom controllers/operators, workflow orchestration, logging, monitoring, security, troubleshooting) • Experience deploying & maintaining Kubernetes clusters (e.g. TKG, Konvoy) • Expert-level knowledge of **Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm** • Experience creating custom Helm charts • 2+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or other CSPs) • DoD 8570 compliant — **IAT Level II certification** (e.g. Security+) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ **⭐ Bonus Points** • Kubernetes certification: CKAD, CKA, or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development • Experience with **Platform One** and **BigBang** ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ **🔒 Security Clearance** • **TS/SCI** clearance required ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ **💰 Compensation** *(select states)* $106,300 — $206,200 USD *(CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, ME, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, OH, VT, VA, WA, DC)* *Applications accepted on a rolling basis — no fixed deadline.*
