**Grafana Labs — Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Grafana Data Source Plugins)** **Location:** Remote (US or Canada). *Residents of Quebec are not eligible.* --- ## About the role Grafana Labs is the company behind **Grafana Cloud**, a fully managed observability platform trusted by 10,000+ organizations. In this role, you’ll be a Senior Full-Stack Engineer in the **Grafana Data Source Plugins** squad. You’ll lead the development and enhancement of a portfolio of data source plugins that power Grafana dashboards used by teams worldwide, with a focus on reliability and smooth operation in **Grafana Cloud**. --- ## What you’ll be doing - Build or improve Grafana data source plugins to integrate third-party services and databases into Grafana - Support operations and reliability of plugins in Grafana Cloud - Propose and drive process improvements - Integrate data sources with agentic workflows (e.g., **Grafana Assistant**) - Provide technical support in customer escalations - Collaborate closely with the rest of the Grafana Division **Some plugins your team owns:** Prometheus, Loki, Infinity, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS CloudWatch, ClickHouse (full catalog: https://grafana.com/grafana/plugins/search/?type=datasource&publisher=grafana) --- ## What makes you a great fit - Turn ideas into working code; design solutions, incorporate feedback, and deliver large projects - Self-driven with strong feedback-loop instincts to guide roadmap decisions - Motivated, action-oriented, and willing to take on challenges - Customer-focused with a passion for intuitive products that meet user needs - Excellent communicator who enjoys collaboration - Comfortable working in a remote-first environment --- ## Requirements - Solid experience with **Golang** and **TypeScript** - Experience with **Kubernetes** and **microservices** - Experience writing clean, robust, performant software that others can maintain - Experience participating in an **on-call rotation** and performing operations/SRE tasks --- ## Bonus points - You’ve used Grafana and Grafana data sources - Expertise in one of the underlying databases Grafana supports - Strong experience working with a Product Manager or external stakeholders --- ## Compensation & benefits In the United States, the base compensation range for this role is **USD $154,445 – $185,334**. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skills assessed during the interview process.
