**Infrastructure Engineer — Strata** **How You’ll Make an Impact** We’re seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support infrastructure systems that enable the reliability, performance, and scalability of our SaaS applications. You’ll help ensure high availability and resilience through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement. You’ll partner closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, and Engineering teams—operating and supporting today’s environment while identifying opportunities to improve how we work for the future. **Key Responsibilities** - Partner with Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud, and Engineering teams to improve platform reliability, performance, and application deployment processes. - Apply reliability engineering practices across observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, capacity planning, and disaster recovery. - Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions. - Automate infrastructure deployments, upgrades, maintenance, and other repetitive operational work (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). - Proactively address technical debt, single points of failure, and opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and resilience. - Monitor and analyze system and application performance to identify issues and optimization opportunities. - Contribute to infrastructure modernization across cloud infrastructure, disaster recovery, virtualization, containerization, and platform architecture. - Evaluate emerging technologies and propose recommendations that improve performance, reliability, operational efficiency, or cost. - Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, runbooks, and technical best practices. - Contribute to the Infrastructure team’s longer-term technical roadmap and continuous improvement priorities. **What We’re Looking For** - 2+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems, cloud, or site reliability engineering. - Experience designing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise data center infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. - Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, or Chef. - Experience with observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, performance optimization, and capacity planning. - Strong systems-level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - An automation mindset focused on improving reliability and operational efficiency. - Curiosity and a continuous-learning mindset. - Strong engineering judgment and willingness to evaluate alternatives. - Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. **Estimated Salary Range** $95,000–$120,000 (base pay estimate). Actual salary depends on skills and experience.
