**Software Engineering, Android (All Teams)** ## About the Team DoorDash is building the world’s most reliable on-demand, logistics engine for delivery. We’re looking for experienced engineers to help develop a 24x7, global infrastructure system that powers DoorDash’s three-sided marketplace of consumers, merchants, and dashers. ## About the Role DoorDash is continuing to grow rapidly and expanding our Engineering offices globally. We’re seeking Android Engineers to build and maintain a large-scale 24x7 global infrastructure system that powers DoorDash’s 3-sided marketplace. Android Engineers at DoorDash work on an app used by millions of people and critical to local entrepreneurs building their online presence. You’ll help scale mobile infrastructure and/or build product features, while improving processes and architecture. This role is **hybrid**, with some in-office time expected, and reports to an **Engineering Manager**. ## You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… - Work within engineering teams to build exciting features - Improve the codebase through continuous refactoring - Solve challenging real-time data transfer and synchronization problems - Extend and implement APIs - Implement unit tests - Stay current with Android development industry standards ## We’re excited about you because you have… - B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent) - 2+ years of industry experience - Expertise developing with the Android SDK in a product environment - Strong systems and OOP knowledge - Expertise with Android testing best practices and frameworks - Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps - Comfort exercising discretion and independent judgment (evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within scope) ## Compensation & Benefits (Summary) - **National base pay range (US, including IL and CO): $130,600–$192,000 USD** (base salary localized by work location) - Opportunities for **equity grants** - Comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with employer matching, paid parental leave, wellness and commuter benefits, paid time off and paid sick leave, and medical/dental/vision benefits ## About DoorDash DoorDash’s mission empowers local economies.
