**Cloud Operator** **About the role** Accenture Federal Services is seeking a **Cloud Operator** with **Microsoft Windows** and **Linux administration** experience to support a dynamic mission. You’ll help support a **fully automated cloud** environment leveraging **infrastructure as code** and **data flows across controlled interfaces**, throughout the full IT project lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities** - Follow configuration management and engineering lifecycle best practices - Implement, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and document system configurations (**Windows Server 2016/2019** and **RHEL 7/8**) - Harden systems to meet security standards - Maintain **COTS** and **GOTS** software - Sustain production systems (e.g., **firewalls**, **file servers**, **security monitoring systems**, etc.) serving many end users - Interface with customers in writing and by phone to provide technical guidance and quickly resolve reported problems **Here’s what you need** - **2+ years** of general systems administration experience with progressive responsibilities - **2+ years** performing Windows or Linux system administration duties - Experience supporting a cloud environment (**AWS preferred**), including delivering, securing/managing, and diagnosing/troubleshooting complex issues - Experience in a **DevSecOps** environment (configuration management tools, automation, and infrastructure-as-code concepts) - **Bachelor’s degree** in a technical discipline, or **4 years** of equivalent professional or military experience **Bonus points if you also have** - PowerShell and/or Bash scripting - Jira Service Management and JQL - Microsoft Identity and Access Management configuration - Group Policy Object (GPO) management - Knowledge of Certificate/CA/PKI infrastructure - Strong communication and organizational skills **Security Requirements** - **Secret level clearance or higher** **Pay Range (where applicable)** - **$94,000 – $187,600 USD** (states listed by the employer) *Accenture Federal Services accepts applications on an ongoing basis; there is no fixed deadline to apply.*
