About this role
**Everpure — Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Embedded Firmware)** Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to a data platform, with $3.7B in revenue and accelerating growth into FY27. Join the Datastore team to design, develop, and validate embedded firmware for DirectFlash™ modules—building reliable, high-performance storage solutions and the virtual platforms/tooling that speed up development, debugging, and validation. --- **What You’ll Be Doing** - Develop and maintain high-fidelity firmware simulation environments (e.g., QEMU) to enable shift-left testing and reduce reliance on physical hardware. - Create accurate, high-fidelity hardware models that abstract controller logic, communication interfaces (PCIe, NVMe), and NAND media behaviors for DirectFlash™ SSD modules. - Design and implement instrumentation tools to profile performance and analyze failures within the simulated environment. - Automate CI/CD pipelines to integrate simulation and virtual platforms into firmware release and validation. - Partner with ASIC vendors to validate firmware behaviors against RTL/digital logic designs before physical silicon is available. --- **What You Bring to the Team** - 5+ years building and scaling complex embedded, firmware, or hardware-software systems. - Expert proficiency in C/C++ (including OOP and C++11+) and strong Python skills. - Deep understanding of firmware–hardware interaction, translating schematics/data sheets into software models. - Solid Linux knowledge (kernel, bootloaders) and ability to root-cause across HW/FW boundaries. - Strong knowledge of high-performance storage protocols (PCIe, NVMe). - Experience with embedded software development, RTOS, and SoC (and related areas).
