We combine ElevenLabs AI audio tools with human experts in linguistics, mixing, and post-production to deliver **human-edited dubs, audiobooks, and more in 15+ languages**—directly on the ElevenLabs platform. We’re hiring engineers to build the systems behind it: - platforms that let **human expertise + AI** work together at client-expected quality - **labelling tools** used by our research teams to improve our models You’ll own a scope in one of these areas: 1. **Human data platform**: labelling + evaluation platform for continuous model improvement - ship new task editors - improve reliability and catch misuse - build metrics behind higher-quality data pipelines 2. **Core productions engine**: the backend services that run production workflows - build and maintain production-critical services - room to lead projects 3. **Editor platform**: professional editing tools production teams use - build in **Rust** - combine UI systems with deep understanding of the underlying system This is **mostly building** with **little hand-holding**—you’ll carve out your own scope and own the outcome. ## Requirements - Strong **backend engineering** experience (ideally functional languages like **Rust**), with a **full-stack focus** on designing UI systems - Shipped and run **production systems end to end** - Experience building **reliable, scalable systems** (internal platforms, workflow/task engines, data pipelines, etc.) - Comfortable switching between building new tools/editors and **hardening the platform** underneath - Opinionated and able to defend ideas, but also willing to do the unglamorous work ### Bonus - Experience building **editor/UI-heavy professional tools** with systems-level understanding - Experience with **data labelling/annotation platforms** or managing crowdsourced workforces ## Location - **Remote-first**: can be executed from anywhere in **Europe** and the **US East Coast** - Must be able to opera
