The team works within the IC to understand requirements, shape concepts of operation, and deliver capability across customer problem sets. **About the Job** As an **Infrastructure Engineer**, you will own and advance our **Kubernetes container orchestration strategy** across both **GCP cloud** and **bare metal** deployments. You’ll be foundational to the reliability and scalability of the platform—from the core cloud hub to a growing number of on-premise edge nodes. You will manage the **full cluster lifecycle**, implementing **GitOps** and **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** to enable robust, repeatable workload deployments. This is a key subject matter expert role partnering closely with **Edge-Cloud** teams to solve complex deployment challenges. **What You’ll Do** - **Container orchestration across cloud and failover-edge**: cluster lifecycle, GitOps, and workload reliability - **Manage a Helm mono-repo** and apply Kubernetes best practices for dynamic configuration - **Partner with Edge-Cloud Reliability** to deploy/reconcile workloads on on-prem nodes **Required Qualifications** - Ability to maintain an active **U.S. Top Secret / SCI Clearance** - **Mid-level** experience with **Kubernetes, containers, GitOps** (Flux/Argo or successor), and **IaC** - Comfortable spanning **cloud and bare metal** environments **Compensation (US Salary Range)** - **$166,000 — $220,000 USD** *Note: The salary range is an estimate based on multiple compensation factors (base salary only).
