**Everpure (Portworx) — Cloud Native Architect (North Central)** ## About the role Portworx by Everpure is a cloud-native platform that helps enterprises unlock the potential of Kubernetes by enabling data management for stateful applications at enterprise scale. This role is a customer-facing **Cloud Native Architect** position focused on providing deep technical and business expertise to help customers run stateful workloads in containers and automate **Day 2** data management workflows. You’ll serve as a vanguard for the **“Kubernetes Everywhere”** movement—helping capture a rapidly growing market opportunity. ## What you’ll do - Provide deep technical and business expertise to customers - Help customers run **stateful applications in containers** - Automate **Day 2 data management** workflows - Lead customer engagements around Portworx and Kubernetes-based data management ## What you bring - **5+ years** experience as a customer-facing senior-level technical architect - Charismatic, confident self-starter with a track record of success with customers - Team-oriented leader who coaches and drives behavior through influence - **5+ years** Linux administration and/or Linux development with an industry-recognized admin-level (or higher) certification - **3+ years** Kubernetes administration experience, plus **KCNA** (or higher) certification - Certification-level fluency in **OpenShift, Rancher, or other Kubernetes orchestration environments** - Certification-level fluency in **Cloud IaaS** (VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack) - Certification-level fluency with **DevOps concepts** and hands-on experience with tools such as **Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD** - Certification-level fluency in **data engineering, big data, and database operations** - Strong understanding of data platform technologies for highly available applications across **on-prem, hybrid, and cloud** - Understanding of the enterprise application development lifecycle and how container platforms affect it - Ability to present the “big picture” (thought leadership, solutioning, challenging the status quo for customer outcomes) - Ability to distill complex problems into a simplified vision that drives customer interest - Strong bias for continuous improvement - Ability to travel regionally (**up to 50%**) ## Location / work style - **#LI-REMOTE** ## Compensation & hiring notes - Annual base salary range: **$156,100 — $234,500 USD** - This role may be eligible for **incentive pay and/or equity** - No application deadline; applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the job is filled ## What you can expect from Everpure - **Innovation**: critical thinking and trailblazing mindset - **Growth**: support to grow and contribute to something meaningful (Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Technology™, etc.) - **Team**: build each other up and set aside ego - Perks include flexible time off, wellness resources, and company-sponsored team events ## Accessibility & inclusion - Candidates with disabilities may request accommodations during the hiring process (contact: **TA-Ops@purestorage.com** if invited to interview) - Equal opportunity employer; committed to an inclusive team
