You’ll operate in real customer environments and own technical outcomes across the full lifecycle: - Discovery and solution design - Implementation and deployment - Production readiness and stabilization Your solutions must meet demanding requirements for: - **Scalability** - **Security** - **Reliability** - **Observability** - **Operational safety** ### About the Role (Staff Forward Deployed Engineer) As a **Staff Forward Deployed Engineer**, you will serve as the **technical lead** for complex customer engagements—owning solutions from discovery and architecture through implementation, deployment, and production readiness. You will: - Work alongside customer engineering teams to understand their environment, data, systems, workflows, and constraints - Turn complex or ambiguous problems into production solutions - Build solutions that may include **agents, applications, integrations, data connectors, APIs, tools, skills, workflows, automation**, and supporting infrastructure - Stay deeply hands-on while providing technical leadership to other engineers on the engagement - Identify reusable patterns and platform gaps from customer work - Partner with Product teams to translate recurring customer needs into Extreme product and platform capabilities
