## Clarify — Frontend Engineer **Location:** Seattle strongly preferred (exceptional remote candidates considered case-by-case) ### About the role Join Clarify as a **Frontend Engineer** to build the interfaces that bring AI to life for sales teams. You’ll craft how users interact with **LLM-powered features** such as conversational search, data enrichment, insights, and workflow automation. You’ll work directly with founders to shape how AI surfaces in the product and help set the foundation for the frontend architecture. ### What you’ll do - Create interfaces that build user trust in AI - Architect frontend systems enabling team velocity and quality - Define API contracts and data patterns across teams - Establish performance standards for data-heavy AI interfaces - Build a component library and patterns teams adopt - Create frontend infrastructure: tooling, testing, and deployment pipelines - Set architectural direction: state management, data fetching, routing - Mentor engineers and establish best practices ### Your background - **5+ years** building production web applications - Expert in **React, TypeScript, and Next.js** - Experience building **AI-powered** or **real-time** user interfaces - Strong frontend architecture skills (state management, performance, data) - Comfortable with complex data structures and APIs - Pragmatic approach: balance speed with quality - Ability to ship features from concept to production (with testing and monitoring) - Strong collaboration with designers, engineers, and product stakeholders - Startup experience and comfort with ambiguity - **Bonus:** data visualization, tables, or command palettes ### Compensation & benefits - **Salary:** $150,000–$215,000 (depending on level and location) - **Equity:** competitive stock options (standard **4-year vesting**, **1-year cliff**) - **Benefits:** fully covered medical, dental, and vision for you (50% for dependents) - **401(k):** company match - Flexible time off - Generous parental leave - Team offsites **2–3 times/year** - Seattle-based employees: work from the Pioneer Square office **3 days/week**; outside Seattle: fully distributed
