## Systems Integration & Test Engineer ### Responsibilities - Plan and execute system-level integration and verification across interconnected platforms, shared services, mission applications, and infrastructure environments. - Validate end-to-end system behavior across platform boundaries, including identity, networking, APIs, CI/CD, observability, mission hosting, tenant services, and hybrid infrastructure. - Develop integration plans for new capabilities, shared services, interfaces, and significant platform/infrastructure changes. - Define integration objectives, test dependencies, required environments, and clear entry/exit criteria. - Coordinate integration and test activities across platform, application, infrastructure, security, and mission engineering teams. - Identify integration risks, dependencies, and potential failure points before production. - Plan test sequencing and ensure environment readiness across multiple technical teams. ### System-Level Verification - Plan and perform end-to-end tests validating service interactions across multiple platforms and technical environments. - Validate APIs, data exchanges, identity flows, networking, CI/CD workflows, observability, and application dependencies. - Support multi-tenant, mission-processing, and GEOINT workflow testing. - Perform regression testing after major platform/interface/application/infrastructure changes. - Evaluate integrated system behavior against requirements, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria. - Identify integration gaps, coordinate root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions. ### Defect & Evidence Management - Track integration defects, technical issues, and test findings through resolution. - Reproduce complex failures and coordinate troubleshooting across engineering teams. - Document test procedures, evidence, results, limitations, and residual risks. - Provide clear technical reporting on integration status, findings, blockers, and readiness. - Develop or automate repeatable integration and regression tests where practical. - Coordinate retesting and verification after defect remediation or significant system changes. ### Location - Fully onsite in **Chantilly, VA** ### Qualifications **Required Qualifications** - Active **TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph** - ~**5–8 years** experience in systems integration, testing, software, platform engineering, systems engineering, or related technical discipline - **5 years with BS/BA**; an additional **4 years** may be considered in lieu of a degree - Demonstrated experience testing distributed systems, APIs, services, or enterprise platforms - Working understanding of cloud, Kubernetes, networking, identity, and CI/CD concepts - Experience coordinating integration/test activities across multiple technical teams - Strong troubleshooting, defect-analysis, and technical-documentation skills - Ability to analyze complex system interactions and communicate findings clearly **Desired Qualifications** - Automated API/integration testing experience - Experience with Kubernetes-based test environments - Experience supporting GEOINT or mission-processing systems - Testing across classified or multi-domain environments - Performance, resilience, or reliability testing - GitLab-based test automation and CI/CD pipeline experience ### Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company and mission capability integrator/enterprise IT provider supporting government agencies and the U
