You’ll be hands-on, client-facing, and directly influencing outcomes—without being siloed or stuck in theory. ## Position Summary The SAP EWM Techno-Functional Consultant designs, configures, implements, supports, and optimizes SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). You’ll serve as the primary link between business stakeholders, warehouse operations, and technical development teams—combining deep functional EWM expertise with hands-on technical capability (configuration, integration troubleshooting, enhancement support, debugging, testing, and deployment). This role is based onsite at the client facility in the **Battle Creek, Michigan** area and requires **daily onsite presence**. ## Essential Functions & Responsibilities - Partner with client stakeholders and warehouse operations to gather, analyze, and document warehouse management requirements. - Translate business requirements into functional specifications, technical specifications, and solution designs for SAP EWM. - Configure SAP EWM processes including: - Inbound/outbound delivery processing - Goods receipt/issue - Storage control, putaway/stock removal - Replenishment, physical inventory - Handling unit management - Warehouse task/order management - RF transactions and warehouse monitoring - Support and troubleshoot integrations between SAP EWM and systems such as **SAP S/4HANA, SAP TM, SAP ECC**, material flow/automation platforms, RF/mobile devices, and external systems (including **qRFC, IDoc, CIF**, and interface error handling). - Perform hands-on technical analysis, including **ABAP debugging**, review of **BAdIs** and enhancement implementations, and defect isolation/resolution for custom developments. - Develop and execute unit, functional, integration, regression, and UAT test scenarios; document results and drive defects to closure. - Investigate and resolve complex production issues using configuration and data analysis and root-cause analysis; recommend sustainable corrective actions. - Collaborate with ABAP and integration developers on enhancements, interfaces, conversions, reports, forms, and workflows; validate delivered objects meet specification. - Support data migration, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare (including off-hours support during cutover windows as required). - Evaluate operational/system impact of incidents (INCs), change requests (CRs), enhancements, and business-process changes; recommend mitigation. - Create business-process documentation, configuration documentation, technical specifications, training materials, work instructions, and operational support procedures. - Lead workshops, process reviews, solution design sessions, and end-user training. - Identify opportunities to improve throughput, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, system performance, and process compliance. - Serve as the onsite face of the C5MI delivery team and a trusted advisor on SAP EWM capabilities and warehouse operations. - Report onsite daily at the Battle Creek, MI client facility. - Mentor junior consultants and promote SAP EWM delivery standards and best practices. - Follow certified processes and actively participate in quality assurance and information security practices. ## Minimum Requirements - Bachelor’s d
