Clay already supports thousands of customers, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Visa, and is on track to cross **$200M in revenue** this quarter. ## The Role We’re looking for a **Full Stack Product Engineer** to build product surfaces that help self-serve and enterprise customers turn growth ideas into reality. You’ll wear both **PM and engineering hats**: identify the problem, decide what to build, ship quickly, and stay close enough to customers to know whether it worked. ## What You’ll Do - **Own the product** (not just tickets): define product strategy and drive execution across conception, research, implementation, and maintenance. - **Wear the PM hat:** frame the problem, write the spec, choose what to cut, and make tradeoff decisions. - **Get close to customers:** talk directly with customers, review tickets, and observe how people build inside Clay. - **Ship fast and iterate:** small teams, short cycles, low process—learn from real usage quickly. - **Design and build full stack features:** build complex features spanning backend and frontend. - **Up-level the codebase:** contribute to performance and reliability; support “negative maintenance” to increase engineering velocity. - **Mentor and learn:** mentor other engineers and learn from engineers with different strengths. ## What You’ll Bring - **4+ years** of hands-on engineering experience building world-class products. - A strong desire to be both **product-minded and engineering-focused**—owning products end to end. - Comfort shipping real work before everything is fully settled, with good judgment on what to cut. - A customer-first mindset: you’d rather watch someone use the product than theorize. - **Empathetic communication** and clarity across different audiences. - Strong **craft**: bug-free, understandable code and a willingness to raise the engineering bar. - Appreciation for **diverse perspectives**. - Familiarity with the current tech stack or the ability to learn quickly. ## Current Tech Stack (Examples) - **Frontend/Backend:** React, TypeScript, Python, Node.js - **AWS:** Aurora (Postgres), ElastiCache (Redis), ECR, ECS (Fargate), Lambda, OpenSearch - **IaC:** Terraform - **Deployment/Testing:** CircleCI, Netlify, Playwright - **Observability:** CloudWatch, Datadog, Mezmo
