It connects autonomy developers with the applications, services, compute, data, and workflows needed to move from local development to deployed systems. --- ## The Role Shield AI is seeking a **Full-Stack Engineer** to help shape the future of physical AI by building tools to **develop, train, and validate autonomous systems**. You will work across: - **TypeScript and React** applications - **Backend services and APIs** - **Python data workflows** With an emphasis on **extensibility and reuse**, you’ll bring together internal platforms and open-source software across **local** and **Kubernetes** environments. ### What you’ll build - Forge capabilities for **simulation**, **synthetic data generation**, **training**, and **test & evaluation** - Tools that help engineers turn ideas into **proven autonomy capabilities** - Reusable services and reliable applications by translating complex workflows into software ### Ownership & collaboration - Work directly with **Hivemind Pilot developers**, **Hivemind Solutions teams**, and **domain experts** - Own features end-to-end: **requirements → design → implementation → deployment → support** - Deploy and troubleshoot **containerized services** alongside platform engineers --- ## Qualifications / Fit This role is a great match for a generalist who: - Enjoys meaningful ownership - Likes moving between **frontend and backend** work - Is curious about the systems that connect them **Practical Kubernetes experience is a plus**, especially supporting applications in **cloud or on-premises** environments.
