The **Platform Engineering Productivity** team operates the **CI, CD, and Release infrastructure** for the company. You’ll help ensure developers can deploy changes **efficiently and safely** across environments and at scale—while addressing evolving needs around **security, supply chain integrity, and release readiness**. ## What you will be doing - Define the **roadmap and technical vision** for CI/CD—from problem identification through org-wide adoption. - Identify where CI/CD is a **bottleneck, friction point, or security risk** before it becomes an incident, and drive remediation. - Design and enforce **release gates** for supply chain integrity, artifact provenance, and release readiness—scaling across teams without slowing engineering velocity. - Direct engineers through complex, multi-quarter projects: break down architecture, assign work, and own outcomes even with distributed execution. - Drive technical communication and alignment across teams, and produce high-quality documentation for systems, processes, and architecture decisions. - Serve as **Incident Commander** on high-severity supply chain or release incidents, using incidents to drive structural improvements. - Raise the engineering bar through code review, mentorship, design review, and standards others adopt voluntarily. - Stay hands-on at the right depth: review code, prototype approaches, and debug production issues—primarily leveraging the work of others. ## What you bring - Deep expertise in **CI/CD** and hardening release pipelines against **supply chain attacks**. - Strong debugging instincts across the full pipeline stack (from test runner → artifact store → cluster deployment). - Hands-on experience with CI infrastructure (e.g., **Buildkite**, **GitHub Actions**, or equivalent), **GitOps/ArgoCD**, and **Kubernetes**. - Ability to use **AI** to accelerate your work and your team’s—and understanding AI’s impact on supply chain security and scale.
