**Enterprise Engineer — Coinbase (Remote-first)** Coinbase is uncompromising on its mission to increase economic freedom. This role is part of a remote-first, but not remote-only, company—expect to meet quarterly for in-person working sessions called **“surges.”** --- ## About the team The **EE Legal Platforms** team owns and operates Coinbase’s legal technology stack, including **Ironclad, Evisort, Brightflag, DocuSign**, and integrations across **Salesforce, Snowflake, Workato, Zip, Symphony, and Slack**. As an **Enterprise Engineer**, you’ll build and operate workflows, integrations, and data foundations that keep Legal systems **auditable, reliable, and scalable**. --- ## What you’ll do - Own **Ironclad** architecture, workflows, and contract lifecycle management, including integrations to upstream and downstream systems. - Build and maintain **system integrations** using **Workato** and APIs, including automation that reduces manual intake and fulfillment work. - Support and evolve adjacent Legal Platforms such as **Evisort, Brightflag, and DocuSign**, focusing on workflows, integrations, and operational reliability. - Execute **data migrations, backfills, reconciliations**, and ongoing **data hygiene** to maintain system integrity. - Govern platform access and credentials for Legal systems (service accounts/tokens, access controls, and operational documentation). - Partner with **Legal, Compliance, Security, and Engineering** to deliver cross-functional outcomes and ship changes safely to production. --- ## Required Skills and Experience - **3–6+ years** administering and evolving **Ironclad and/or DocuSign** (or comparable **CLM/eSignature** platforms) in production, including complex templates, workflows, and permissions. - Hands-on experience building integrations using **Workato** (or similar iPaaS), **REST APIs**, **webhooks**, authentication flows, and structured data payloads—able to debug failures and resolve data inconsistencies. - Proven experience performing **data migrations**, bulk data loads, and **reconciliations** while maintaining data integrity at scale. - Ability to own a platform end-to-end, operate independently, and translate technical details into clear guidance for Legal and business stakeholders. - Responsible use of **generative AI** with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality. - Ability to use generative AI tools/copilots (e.g., **LibreChat, Gemini, Glean**) in daily workflows and apply **human-in-the-loop** practices. --- ## Pay Transparency (Annual Base Salary Range) - **$135,320 – $159,200 USD** (excluding equity and bonus) --- ## Notes - **Application limit:** Maximum of **3 applications within a 6-month period**. - **Equal Opportunity Employer:** Coinbase considers qualified applicants regardless of protected characteristics; criminal histories are considered consistent with applicable laws. - **Accommodations:** If you need a reasonable accommodation, email **accommodations[at]coinbase.com**.
