With approximately **21.5M members** and **2,909 clubs** across the U.S. and internationally, our mission is to enhance people’s lives by delivering a high-quality fitness experience in a welcoming, non-intimidating environment—our **Judgement Free Zone®**. **Overview** The **Sr. Manager, Club Technology** leads the strategy, delivery, support, and continuous improvement of technology solutions that power Planet Fitness club operations. This role partners closely with **Product, Engineering, Operations, franchisees, and third-party vendors** to ensure club technology platforms are **reliable, secure, scalable**, and aligned with business priorities and long-term technology objectives. This role is **hybrid** and requires regular, in-person work at our **Boston, MA** or **Hampton, NH** office (**M/T/W in office; TH/F optional work-from-home**). **Fully remote work is not available.** Candidates must reside within commuting distance of one of these locations. --- **Responsibilities** - **Technology Strategy & Solution Delivery** - Lead strategy, roadmap development, and continuous improvement of club technology platforms supporting club operations globally. - Oversee club technology architecture, integrations, and platform capabilities to ensure reliable, secure, scalable solutions. - Drive innovation and expansion of club technology solutions, including initiatives supporting international growth. - Serve as a senior technology leader and subject matter expert for assigned platforms and business domains. - **Portfolio & Program Leadership** - Oversee a portfolio of complex technology programs from planning through implementation and ongoing operational support. - Ensure programs adhere to **SDLC standards**, governance requirements, and compliance expectations. - Manage program roadmaps, budgets, risks, dependencies, enterprise release planning, and technical backlogs. - Lead executive-level communication, escalation management, prioritization decisions, and stakeholder alignment. - **Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management** - Partner with Operations to ensure club and franchisee needs are represented in technology roadmaps and investment decisions. - Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Finance, and Operations to deliver business outcomes. - Build and manage relationships with franchisees, vendors, and strategic technology partners. - Serve as a senior point of contact for technology initiatives impacting club operations, member experience, and franchisee success. - **Team Leadership & Operational Excellence** - Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Technology Managers. - Establish priorities, delivery expectations, and performance measures. - Promote continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency, solution quality, and delivery effectiveness. - Support talent planning, succession development, and organizational capability building. --- **Qualifications** - **Bachelor’s degree** (or equivalent work experience) - **8+ years** leading complex, cross-functional technology programs, product initiatives, or business systems implementations - **3+ years** leading managers, technical teams, or matrixed technology organizations - Demonstrated experience deve
