This role is responsible for programming technical solutions on the **force.com** platform, serving as a lead developer to deliver features and functionality for sophisticated enterprise business requirements. ### Responsibilities - Serve as a technical expert on new project initiatives and participate in application design sessions - Assist with planning and implementation of approved initiatives - Communicate and interpret application requirements and modifications to vendor and Business Technology technical staff - Develop project work plans and manage projects to completion (including scope/objectives, detailed design specs, and translating features into programming specifications) - Provide regular status updates and time estimates to the project team - Lead and mentor Business Technology team members on Salesforce functionality and best practices - Perform environment management to ensure a stable, structured environment - Provide technical documentation and environment audit trails - Maintain Salesforce releases and upgrades - Manage CI/CD and deployment techniques in Salesforce - Update application procedures and standards to reflect best practices - Complete and communicate modifications to user operations and documentation ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Programming Language Certification, or equivalent experience - **5+ years** of relevant experience - Demonstrated technical & functional knowledge of **Salesforce CRM** - Proficiency in coding and programming key Salesforce core programming languages - Strong understanding of **Salesforce APIs** and **REST/SOAP** web services - Strong experience with **CI/CD** and deployment techniques in Salesforce ### Compensation & Benefits (Highlights) - Competitive base salary (market reviewed) - Performance and recognition through annual salary planning and incentive programs - Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and robust retirement program (employer match + automatic contribution) - Employee assistance program, wellness program, and telemedicine - Professional development support (including **Heart U** and mentoring/ERG opportunities) - Work-life harmonization: **PTO minimum of 16 days/year**, plus **12 paid holidays** - Tuition assistance for career development ### Location / Work Style **Dallas, TX** • **#LI-Hybrid** ### Equal Opportunity The American Heart Association is an **EOE/Protected Veterans/Persons with Disabilities** employer.
