About this role

**Developer Success Engineer (Stytch) — Twilio** **Who we are** Twilio is shaping the future of communications—remote-first, globally inclusive, and focused on helping developers build personalized customer experiences. **About the job** In this hybrid engineering and customer success role, you’ll work directly with developers using Stytch. You’ll help them understand how Stytch works, design implementations, and answer questions. You’ll also act as the voice of the customer—closing the feedback loop by ensuring insights reach Product, Design, and Engineering (and you may implement improvements yourself). As the team grows, you’ll have opportunities to contribute new features to Stytch and Twilio products through code. **Responsibilities** - Build new features and fix bugs in Stytch and Twilio products. - Serve as a technical resource for customers when they have questions about the product. - Improve documentation and processes for internal and external stakeholders. **Qualifications** **Required:** - A genuine drive to understand customer needs and concerns. - Troubleshooting skills: deep curiosity, grit, and tenacity to dig into tough technical issues and find root causes. - Hands-on programming experience in a major language, with 2+ years writing code to build, debug, or automate in a support, solutions, or software engineering role. - Ability to debug others’ code (customer integrations, SDKs, open-source libraries) and ship small, well-tested fixes in an existing codebase. - Familiarity with modern web services and APIs. - Demonstrated ability to communicate credibly and effectively at all levels. **Desired:** - Experience with authentication protocols (SAML/OAuth), MFA, IdP. - Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., technical support, solutions engineering, field engineering). - Direct experience working on a dedicated software development or product team. **Location / Work setup** - Remote (East Coast time zone only) - Not eligible to be hired in CT, NJ, NY at this time - Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings (project/team/customer) **Compensation (estimated pay ranges)** - Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, or Washington D.C.: **$116,960 – $146,200** - Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside the San Francisco Bay area): **$123,760 – $154,700** - Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: **$137,520 – $171,900** - May be eligible for Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan **Application note** Applications are intended to be accepted until **January 2nd**, but may change based on business needs. **Stay alert to recruitment fraud** Twilio will never ask for payment, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or banking information during recruiting. Twilio does not make job offers without a formal interview process and does not conduct interviews exclusively through text-based messaging apps. **Equal Opportunity** Twilio is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable law.
