Prime Healthcare is actively seeking new members to join our corporate team. ## Responsibilities - Design, build, test, install, and support software applications required to deploy the **Meditech electronic medical record (EMR)** system and other **Clinical IT** systems. - Serve as a leader with overall responsibility for software analysis and design, application/system installation, and implementation of assigned **Meditech applications** and other clinical IT systems. - Formulate system scope and design objectives through analysis and research to configure vendor-maintained systems or develop/modify in-house systems. ## Qualifications ### Required - Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Business, or Computer/Information Sciences **or** equivalent professional experience. - 5 years of industry-related experience in IT/clinical settings or applicable healthcare operations. - Prior experience in **EMR implementations**. - Strong understanding of functionality related to the assigned application (e.g., **Emergency Room workflow**, **In-Patient CPOE**, etc.). - Strong computer skills including **Windows, Exchange/Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project**. - Ability to travel up to **50%** as required. - Familiarity with **CMS** and **HIPAA** regulations regarding meaningful use requirements and attestations. - Ability to manage more than one project at a time and communicate with stakeholders in a timely manner. ### Preferred - Experience with **MEDITECH CS 5.6** and strong building skills. - Nurse experience preferred. - 5+ years supporting Meditech clinical modules, implementations, and/or upgrades. - Ability to communicate tactfully and work effectively with patients, physicians, vendors, and system staff at all levels. - Capable of leading and working well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team. - Strong understanding of terminology, functional knowledge, business processes, and issues related to using computer systems in **Nursing, Pharmacy, Radiology, Laboratory**, and other ancillary clinical services. - Experience in business information system management in an acute or ambulatory care setting. ## Pay Transparency Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. - **Estimated annual compensation (CA): $97,115.20 to $131,102.40** (includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation). - Exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire based on factors including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure. ## Employment Details - **Employment Status:** Full Time - **Shift:** Days ## Equal Employment Opportunity Prime Healthcare is an equal employment opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment based on protected categories under applicable federal, state, or local laws. ## Links - Know Your Rights (EEOC): https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2022-10/EEOC_KnowYourRights_screen_reader_10_20.pdf - Privacy Notice (California Applicants): https://www.primehealthcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Notice-at-Collection-and-Privacy-Policy-for-California-Job-Applicants.pdf
