Join a collaborative team supporting defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations. **Location** San Antonio, TX --- ## Role Overview Accenture Federal Services is seeking a **Full Stack Software Engineer** proficient with **AI-driven software development**. You’ll blend modern **Java + JavaScript** full-stack development with hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., code-assist, automated refactoring, intelligent testing, and AI-supported troubleshooting) to build **secure, scalable, mission-focused applications**. You’ll contribute across **backend, front-end, and automation** layers to modernize applications and improve reliability while reducing manual effort. --- ## What you’ll be doing - Design, develop, and maintain **scalable, mission-driven web applications** across the full stack - Build and optimize **backend services** using **Java** for secure, efficient, high-performance data processing - Develop and integrate **RESTful APIs** for reliable service-to-service communication - Create **responsive, accessible, user-focused** front-end interfaces using **JavaScript** and modern frameworks - Partner with **product managers, designers, and engineers** to translate requirements into technical solutions - Troubleshoot issues across the stack to improve **system reliability** and performance - Demonstrate ownership, problem-solving, and a commitment to **secure, maintainable, high-quality** delivery --- ## What you’ll need - **Minimum 3 years** of experience with: - **Java** and **JavaScript** and/or front-end frameworks such as **React, Angular, or Vue.js** - **Ansible** (hands-on experience) - Experience developing, building, consuming, and/or securing **RESTful APIs** - Experience with **SQL and/or NoSQL** databases (e.g., **PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch**) - Experience working with **Node.js** - Experience leveraging **code assist technologies** (e.g., **Gemini Code Assist, GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer**, etc.) --- ## Bonus points if you have - **Apache Spark** and **NiFi** - Integrating **AI/LLM** capabilities into **legacy architecture** - Familiarity with data-ecosystem tools such as **Accumulo, Hadoop, Zookeeper, YARN**, etc. - Experience with **Docker, Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes** - Using **AI-augmented CI/CD** tools (docs, test generation, dependency updates, pipeline recommendations) - Applying **AI-assisted security scanning** to identify vulnerabilities/misconfigurations - AI-supported infrastructure automation workflows (e.g., Ansible playbook generation, automated config validation) - **DoD 8140 compliance** (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CASP, etc.) --- ## Clearance - **Must have an active Top Secret clearance** - **SCI preferred** --- ## Pay Range (where applicable) **$103,200 – $196,400 USD** (base pay range for specified states/locations) --- **Equal Opportunity** Accenture Federal Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal opportunities, including reasonable accommodations when needed.
