We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. ## About the role We’re seeking an **Engineering Manager** for our **Business Technology** area to lead engineering efforts that power Garner’s internal customer support engine. This role reports to the **VP of Platform Engineering** and is critical to ensuring our internal employee-facing systems scale seamlessly as we enter our next phase of hyper-growth. ## Where you will work - **New York City office (Financial District)** - Must be willing to work **in the office 3 days per week** (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) ## What you will do - Own Garner’s **identity provider** solution end to end, ensuring optimal onboarding/off-boarding for employees and contractors while maintaining the proper security bar - Own Garner’s **internal network** end to end, ensuring a seamless networking experience for employees in NYC HQ - Grow and develop the Business Technology team: capacity planning, hiring, development, and termination of support and systems engineering resources - Provide and nurture meaningful metrics (e.g., **Support SLA adherence**) to demonstrate organizational health at a glance ## The ideal candidate has - Mastery managing high-impact, strategic relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure technical roadmaps align with internal/employee experience objectives - The ability to accurately identify and correct employee misallocations so the team focuses on highest-leverage opportunities - A systematic approach that drives innovation and improves how Garner delivers internal employee experience - A commitment to operating with intense urgency—owning results through individual accountability and providing authentic, direct feedback - A desire to be part of a high-performing, mission-driven team with strong individual accountability and a commitment to authentic feedback ## Technologies we use - Okta, Iru, Crowdstrike, Serval / Ravenna, Claude, GWS, MacOS ## Compensation Transparency - **Target salary range:** **$239,000 - $292,000** - Individual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, and applicable laws - Eligible for equity incentive and competitive benefits, including flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k), Teladoc Health, and more ## Fraud and Security Notice Be aware of recent job scam attempts.
