## GTM Technology Engineer Plaid is hiring a **GTM Technology Engineer** to help build and maintain the technical backbone of Plaid’s GTM systems. Plaid powers tools millions of people rely on to connect financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. The **GTM Technology** team (within GTM Operations) owns the systems, architecture, and automation that power Plaid’s go-to-market motion—covering **Salesforce administration and platform architecture**, **quote-to-cash**, **lead-to-cash data integrity**, and the evaluation/rollout of new GTM tooling (including **AI and agentic tooling**). --- ### What you’ll do - **Salesforce development:** Build and maintain **Apex**, **Lightning Web Components (LWC)**, **SOQL/SOSL**, and **Flows** supporting core GTM processes. - **Data integrity & diagnostics:** Investigate and resolve issues in **revenue-critical** Apex services by tracing root causes across triggers, flows, and integrations. - **Cross-platform integration:** Design and maintain integrations across the GTM stack (e.g., **Salesforce, CPQ, contract lifecycle management, sales engagement, data warehouse**) using **REST/SOAP APIs**, event-driven patterns, and middleware (e.g., **MuleSoft**, **Tray.io**). - **AI & automation:** Prototype and productionize AI-assisted workflows using **LLM APIs**, **Salesforce-hosted MCP servers**, and agentic workflows to remove manual RevOps work (deal reviews, data QA, reporting, triage). - **Platform architecture:** Contribute to Salesforce architecture decisions (data model, sharing model, integration patterns, and CI/CD using tools like **Copado** or **Gearset**) to keep the org scalable. - **Partnership:** Work closely with **RevOps, Deal Desk, Sales leadership, and Engineering** to translate business requirements into reliable, well-tested solutions. - **Quality & governance:** Write testable, documented code; participate in code review and release management; support relevant **SOX/ITGC** controls where applicable. --- ### What you bring - **4+ years** of hands-on Salesforce development experience - Strong experience with **Apex**, **LWC**, **Flow**, **SOQL/SOSL**, and integration patterns (**REST/SOAP**, platform events, middleware) - Experience with **CPQ** and a working understanding of **quote-to-cash / lead-to-cash** data flows - Hands-on experience building **AI-powered workflows / agentic systems / LLM-backed automations** (building with AI, not just using it) - Strong debugging and systems-thinking skills (trace issues from Salesforce fields through automation and upstream integrations) - Experience with integration/middleware platforms (e.g., **MuleSoft**, **Tray.io**, **Workato**) and modern API design - Solid software engineering fundamentals: **Git**, **CI/CD**, testing discipline, and code review practices - Excellent cross-functional communication skills - Comfortable operating in ambiguity with a proactive, builder mindset - **Plus:** Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect) --- ### Mission & equal opportunity Plaid’s mission is to unlock financial freedom for everyone. Plaid is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity. They encourage applications even if you don’t fully match every requirement. --- ### Compensation & benefits Additional compensation (e.g., equity and/or commission) depends on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)). Pay is based on scope,
