**Tenstorrent — ATE Test Development Engineer (Hybrid)** Tenstorrent is hiring an **ATE Test Development Engineer** to build sophisticated, scalable test solutions on the **Advantest V93000** platform using **SmartTest 8**, custom code, and low-level tester APIs. You’ll own the development, debugging, datalogging, and optimization of ATE test content for **NPI and production**, ensuring devices are thoroughly characterized and efficiently tested for high-volume manufacturing. **Location**: Hybrid, based out of **Austin, TX; Santa Clara, CA; or Fort Collins, CO** --- ### Who You Are - **10+ years** of experience in ATE test development, semiconductor test engineering, or post-silicon validation - Proficient with **Advantest V93000**, **SmartTest 8**, tester APIs, **C++/Java**, and **Python automation** - Understands ATE instrumentation (e.g., **DPS, PMU, RF/HSIO, timing sets, multisite execution**, tester-to-DUT behavior) - Structured problem solver with experience in **controlled experimentation**, **root-cause isolation**, cross-domain debug, and semiconductor test methodologies --- ### What We Need - Develop and maintain **modular ATE test programs** and **measurement libraries** for NPI and production on the V93000 - Implement and optimize **parametric, functional, scan, BIST, and system-level** test flows using tester APIs and custom measurement sequences - Debug ATE failures and support product engineering with **characterization**, **Vmin/Fmax extraction**, **guard-band definition**, production limits, and correlation to bench/SLT/validation results - Build robust **datalogging and automation** solutions; improve **test time**, **multisite efficiency**, measurement stability, **yield analysis**, and regression testing --- ### What You Will Learn - How to develop scalable production test solutions for high-performance **AI and compute silicon** - How to connect **test methodology**, instrumentation behavior, silicon performance, and manufacturing requirements - Techniques for **silicon characterization**, **Vmin/Fmax extraction**, guard-band definition, yield learning, and automated failure triage - How ATE test content progresses from **NPI bring-up and debug** through production release and high-volume manufacturing --- ### Compensation & Notes - Compensation range (all engineers): **$100k – $500k** (base + variable), depending on experience, skills, education, background, and location - Tenstorrent offers a competitive compensation package and benefits; **equal opportunity employer** **Export-Control Contingency**: Employment is contingent upon eligibility to access **U.S. export-controlled technology**.
