Our platform includes **LangSmith** (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), open-source frameworks (**LangChain, LangGraph, Deep Agents**), and the newly launched **LangSmith Engine** for autonomous agent improvement. **About the Role** We’re seeking a **Senior Fullstack Engineer** for our commercial product **LangSmith**—an observability and evals platform. You’ll shape the technical direction of the platform while working closely with enterprise customers, developer end-users, and internal stakeholders. **What You’ll Do** - Lead technical architecture and implementation of key LangSmith product features across our **Go, Python, and TypeScript** stack - Collaborate with product and design to iterate on new features - Mentor and guide more junior team members - Drive aggressive project timelines while maintaining high engineering standards - Lead by example: write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code **What You Bring** - **5+ years** of software engineering experience on complex platform products - Fullstack experience: **Go or Python** (backend) and **React + TypeScript** (frontend) - Strong understanding of **Postgres** and **Redis** - Experience designing and scaling **APIs** (high-performance, data-intensive applications preferred) - A “get stuff done” mindset—comfortable shipping fast and iterating based on user feedback - Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and top-tier customers - Strong ownership mindset - **Bonus:** experience with **AI/LLM-powered applications**, developer tools, or observability platforms **Compensation & Benefits** - **Annual salary range:** **$180,000–$240,000 USD** - Compensation includes base salary, variable compensation (where relevant), meaningful equity, and benefits/perks - Benefits include medical/dental/vision, flexible vacation, 401(k), meals on in-office days in the US, and more *Location: NY*
