Join us to turn bold ideas into real-world impact. **Role: Senior Software Engineer, Security Engineering** We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate security across Bot Auto’s autonomous trucking stack. Protecting our proprietary autonomous driving technology—and the safety-relevant systems behind our fleet—is mission critical. You’ll work across **onboard (in-vehicle) security** and **infrastructure/platform security**, and help Bot Auto adopt **AI responsibly** by understanding security implications of large language models and agentic systems—then building protections that enable fast, safe innovation. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement security controls for onboard systems, including **secure boot, code signing, secrets & key management, secure OTA updates**, and hardening the autonomous driving software stack. - Architect and operate security across infrastructure and platforms: **Kubernetes, AWS, on-prem data centers, CI/CD pipelines, and internal developer platforms**. - Build protections for AI systems (e.g., **prompt injection, data exfiltration, model & supply-chain risks**) using guardrails, sandboxing, and monitoring. - Develop **identity & access management**, secrets management, and **least-privilege** authorization across services, devices, and the fleet. - Conduct **threat modeling**, security design reviews, and risk assessments; partner with engineering teams to remediate findings. - Establish **vulnerability management**, dependency/supply-chain scanning, and a secure software development lifecycle (**SSDLC**). - Build **detection, logging, and incident response** capabilities across onboard and infrastructure environments. - Promote a security-first culture through tooling, automation, documentation, and mentorship. **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. *(Note: The provided description appears truncated after the first qualification.)*
