With **60,000+ employees and physicians**, Prime Healthcare is seeking new members to join our corporate team. ### Responsibilities The **Director, Ancillary Applications** provides strategic leadership, governance, operational oversight, and lifecycle management for all **ancillary and third-party applications** across the enterprise, including: - Clinical systems - Departmental applications - Standalone platforms - Specialized vendor solutions - Acquired legacy systems supporting hospital and ambulatory operations You will ensure applications remain: - **Stable, secure, integrated, and compliant** - Aligned with organizational objectives This role includes effective application support, interoperability management, vendor oversight, application rationalization, and enterprise integration strategies across **clinical, operational, and business domains**. You will collaborate with operational leaders, clinical stakeholders, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise applications, and executive leadership to support: - Patient care - Operational efficiency - Regulatory compliance - Organizational growth initiatives ### Qualifications **Required** - Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field** - **5+ years** of progressive IT leadership experience supporting healthcare applications - Experience managing ancillary clinical applications, standalone systems, and healthcare integrations - Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including **HL7, APIs, and interface engines** - Knowledge of EMRs such as **Epic** and **Meditech** - Knowledge of imaging systems, laboratory systems, cardiology, pharmacy, surgical systems, and other specialty platforms - Strong vendor management, project management, and operational leadership experience - Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to travel **up to 50%** **Preferred** - **PMP** certification or other relevant certifications - Experience in large-scale healthcare systems or hospital settings ### Pay Transparency Prime Healthcare offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. **Estimated annual compensation (California): $79,872.00 – $252,241.60** *Exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors including skillset, years of experience, education, credentials, and licensure.* ### Employment Details - **Employment Status:** Full Time - **Shift:** Days ### Equal Employment Opportunity Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
