The mission is to create safe and beneficial AI for users and society. **About Beneficial Deployments** Beneficial Deployments ensures AI reaches communities that need it most, partnering with nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven organizations to deploy Claude in education, global health, economic mobility, and life sciences. **About the Role** Join the Beneficial Deployments Life Sciences team to help scientists maximize Claude and Claude Science. You'll run enablements, workshops, and hackathons; build demos showcasing frontier models for science; and grow a community of scientists building with Claude. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead scientific enablement initiatives and measure research team adoption of Claude • Design and run large-scale scientist activation programs (LSVP, Claude for Researchers) • Create demos, notebooks, and tutorials; engage scientists on social platforms • Scale enablement across Anthropic's Applied AI and Customer Success teams • Build and lead scientist communities; serve as ambassador at meetups and conferences • Advocate for scientists' needs internally; partner on marketing and communications **Ideal Candidate** • Deep hands-on expertise with AI tools for science (Claude Science) • Real credibility as a scientist with lab, biotech, pharma, or research institute experience • Track record helping scientific teams adopt new tools • Current knowledge of AI for science (agentic analysis, AI co-scientists) • Hands-on LLM API prototyping experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to take programs from idea to results • Comfortable operating in ambiguity **Compensation & Details** **Salary:** $275,000–$315,000 USD **Location:** Hybrid (25% office minimum) **Education:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent **Visa Sponsorship:** Available *Anthropic encourages applications from all candidates, including those from underrepresented groups.
