## Anduril Industries — Mission Software Engineer (Mission Systems, Deployment and Infrastructure) ### About the Team Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) builds autonomous robotics systems (including the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda effects family). The **Mission Systems Deployment & Infrastructure** team owns the path software takes from a developer’s commit to running on a vehicle in the field—covering: - CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure - Software-in-the-loop (SITL) environments for testing before hardware deployment - On-vehicle **Kubernetes** infrastructure for managing deployed mission software A core challenge of this role is delivering software in environments that don’t resemble typical cloud deployments—especially getting builds securely into **classified and disconnected** government systems where standard internet-based delivery isn’t available. ### What You’ll Own - The full software delivery chain: **build → test → field deployment** - Diagnosing and fixing failures across build, test, and deployment stages - Ensuring secure delivery practices for constrained and disconnected environments ### Required Qualifications - BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field - **3+ years** building and maintaining **CI/CD pipelines** and build infrastructure in production - Production-grade software development experience in **Linux** (C++, Rust, Python, Go, or equivalent) - Deep experience with **Kubernetes** and container orchestration, including constrained/non-standard network environments - Ability to navigate complex, multi-stage delivery pipelines and diagnose issues end-to-end - Experience with **Git/GitHub**, including branching/release strategies for production shipping - Ability to travel up to **30%** for real-world build/test/deploy activities - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active **U.S. Secret** security clearance - Strong ownership mindset and bias for action ### Preferred Qualifications - Experience delivering software into **classified, air-gapped, or disconnected** environments - Familiarity with **SITL/HIL** test infrastructure - Experience running Kubernetes on constrained/embedded hardware (e.g., **k3s**) - Experience with **systemd** and Linux system-level service management - Experience deploying/debugging/testing infrastructure on physical systems (lab + test site) - Familiarity with artifact repositories, package management, and secure software supply chain practices (e.g., signed builds, provenance tracking) - Familiarity with government reference architectures or accreditation processes for DoW systems - Active **Secret** clearance ### Salary Range **$166,000 — $220,000 USD** (base salary estimate; equity and benefits may apply) ### Benefits Anduril offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package (health, recovery, and more).
