**📌 Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) — Top Secret/SCI w/Poly** **📍 Location:** Annapolis Junction, MD (shiftwork/weekend support as needed) --- ## **Responsibilities** - Deliver information security solutions that enable secure data flows and detect/prevent unauthorized behaviors - Perform system security vulnerability assessments and support solution development - Provide enterprise-level security services across network, server, desktop, and applications - Provide technical and programmatic information assurance and system administration services to internal and external customers - Support network and information security systems --- ## **Qualifications** - **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related field (accredited institution) - *May substitute:* **4 years additional ISSE experience** for a BS degree (up to **18 years total ISSE experience**) - **Minimum 14 years’ experience** as an ISSE - **Active CISSP certification required** - Ability to accommodate **shiftwork**, including **weekend support** - Experience with **system administration support**, **security planning**, **assessment**, **risk analysis**, and **risk management** - Ability to perform **system/network designs** spanning multiple enclaves, including differing data protection/classification requirements - Experience recommending **system-level solutions** to address security and system administration requirements - Ability to support the Government in enforcing **trusted relationships** among external systems and architectures --- ## **Security Clearance** - **Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required** --- ## **Benefits** - Heavily subsidized employee benefits for you and your dependents - **25 days PTO** accrued annually (up to a generous cap) - Participation in an attractive **bonus plan** --- ## **Compensation** - **Target Salary Range:** **$146,000 – $234,000** - Salary depends on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills/competencies, and geographic/business/contract factors - May be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus (depending on position) --- **EEO:** Equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veterans, or other characteristics protected by law.
