## Senior AI/ML Data Analyst **Location:** Onsite at NGA Facility, Springfield, VA **Type:** Full-Time **Clearance:** Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with SCI Eligibility Required ### About VivSoft VivSoft helps solve complex federal problems using emerging and open technologies. The team builds secure “Software Factories” based on DoD reference designs and NIST frameworks, delivering AI/ML applications, data science platforms, and other capabilities for DoD, healthcare, and civilian agencies. ### Job Summary As a **Senior AI/ML Data Analyst**, you will support the **creation, analysis, management, and governance** of data used to develop and evaluate AI/ML models. You’ll help ensure large, complex datasets are properly curated, analyzed, monitored, and maintained to enable successful AI/ML initiatives. ### Key Responsibilities - Conduct data analysis, develop visualizations, and recommend improvements for AI/ML training and evaluation data - Evaluate training dataset diversity/suitability and alignment between training and operational data - Support data governance and oversight (preprocessing, labeling, curation, and management) - Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical tools to monitor and evaluate data operations - Perform data quality monitoring/assurance and recommend actions to improve AI/ML and computer vision performance - Analyze large volumes of **geospatial data** to identify patterns, trends, and solutions to user requirements - Work with **structured and unstructured datasets** to identify valuable sources and assess data quality - Apply data and performance metrics to support product and technical decision-making - Evaluate industry-standard and emerging solutions and provide strategic recommendations - Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and engineering teams to translate operational needs into actionable data/technical requirements - Support the full AI product development lifecycle (conceptualization → design → implementation → testing → evaluation) - Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies, tools, and industry practices ### Required Qualifications - **Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related technical field - Minimum **1 year** professional experience with **AI or ML** technologies - Minimum **1 year** experience with **large-scale geospatial datasets** - Demonstrated experience developing software using multiple programming languages and statistical packages - Knowledge of dataset management/analysis tools and AI/ML technologies - Demonstrated experience working with **databases** - Experience with **structured and unstructured data** - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to drive decisions using data/metrics - Experience assessing data quality for AI/ML applications - Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills - Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies - Ability and willingness to continuously learn and adapt to rapidly evolving AI technologies - Strong communication and collaboration skills ### Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree in a related technical field - Experience supporting complex, mission-critical technology environments - Experience supporting large-scale enterprise IT architectures and tools - Experience supporting acquisition programs or mission-support contracts in highly regulated environments - Scrum Master or related Ag
