**Information Security Architect** **About Airship** Airship is trusted by world's leading brands such as Alaska Airlines, BBC and The Home Depot to drive revenue growth and customer loyalty with exceptional cross-channel customer experiences. **About the Role** Airship is seeking an Information Security Architect to own the design and evolution of security architecture across cloud infrastructure, applications, and the CI/CD pipeline. You'll be the technical authority on secure-by-design systems, partnering with Engineering, Platform, and Product teams to embed security into every phase of the development lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and maintain security architecture, reference architectures, and technical security standards • Perform security architecture reviews for enterprise applications and cloud platforms • Conduct threat modeling and technical risk assessments • Define cloud security guardrails, network segmentation, and access control models across GCP • Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (secure builds, container security, IaC security) • Evaluate emerging technologies including AI/GenAI platforms for security risks • Develop security guidance for API security, authentication, encryption, and IAM • Participate in security on-call rotation and incident response • Mentor colleagues on secure design principles **What We're Looking For** • 8+ years in information security, security architecture, or cloud security engineering • Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security • Hands-on experience securing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices • Experience with threat modeling for complex, distributed systems • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Java, Bash) • Strong understanding of network security, IAM, and application security • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences **Nice to Have** • Industry certifications (CISSP, CCSP, Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer) • Experience with enterprise security tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Okta) • Kubernetes and container orchestration security experience • AI security and risk framework knowledge **Work Details** • **Location:** Fully Remote • **Travel:** Up to 10% based on business needs • **Compensation:** $130,000-$160,000 USD per year + stock options • **Benefits:** Medical/dental/vision, flexible PTO, parental leave, wellness resources, life insurance, disability coverage
