**Company:** Balsam Brands, Inc. **Position:** Solution Architect **Worksite:** 999 W Main St, Floor 10, Boise, ID 83702 *(May telecommute)* **Compensation:** $161,363.00 – $242,045.00 per year **Application Note:** Include job code **REQ # TCH26-100** on your resume. **Apply:** https://www.balsambrands.com/careers/ **#LI-DNI** --- ## Duties & Responsibilities - Develop practical, scalable digital solutions for internal business and technical teams. - Analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs; collaborate with UX/Design, eCommerce, Growth, and Digital Technology teams. - Work closely with business users and technical teams as a domain/subject matter expert. - Translate business requirements and processes into solutions aligned to business needs. - Communicate technical requirements and trade-offs to support effective business decision-making. - Create diagrams and workflows to demonstrate system steps and logical operational flow. - Produce accurate work estimates and design solutions for execution. - Lead complex projects independently and with teams across multiple project phases. - Serve as a “consultant” on complex initiatives. - Develop, execute, and continuously improve technical requirements. - Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders. - Build cross-functional relationships to align on business, end-customer, and release goals. ## Required Education & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. - 60 months of relevant experience in solution architecture, including hands-on work with: - Microservices - API integrations - Enterprise eCommerce platforms - Architectural styles (e.g., SOA, event-driven, REST) - Secure communication protocols (e.g., SSL, HTTP, TCP/IP) - **Special Requirement:** May telecommute.
